I am best known for my direct, grounded, and enquiry-based approach to yoga and movement practices.
In addition to private and corporate client work, I create an explorative, playful, and enriching practice that helps bringing awareness into the body. With music background, especially curated to set the tone of the class, you will be offered ideas to re-engage with body sensations while moving, get those endorphins flowing and inject some energy and fun into your day. My on-going studies include a long-time somatic yoga, movement and meditation practice and consistent studies of the human body and mind.
I have studied with, and assisted in teacher training workshops and retreats, worldwide known Tiffany Cruikshank (creator of Yoga Medicine), Naomi Absalom (creator of Liberate & Elevate) and practiced with many teachers in UK, Mexico and Hawaii.

My approach is rooted in somatic movement and breath awareness as gateways to connect students with their inner landscapes, exploring and releasing physical sensations and emotional holds up. The demands of modern life could cause excessive stress and tension in the body and an overactive mind. One of the nervous system’s states is known as “freeze”. Often falsely perceived as a “calm/nothing”, “freeze” could result in an inability to ease bodily and mental patterns of tension.

Through non-force movements, educating how to feel from the inside (known as Interoception), an ability to locate sensations within the body as a form of self-study, I facilitate a practice that offers continued engagement with movement which, over time, helps the participant to be more fully engaged with physical sensations, to accept and create intimacy with what is present. This somatic approach to body movement can be practiced by anyone, regardless of physical health, ability, fitness level or age. By putting focus on this approach to movement guidance, on conscious internal awareness of movement and emphasising how the body feels rather than the external appearance or outcome of the movement, we can can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, responsible for the "rest and digest" response, promoting relaxation and reducing anxiety.

The state of “freeze” and refusal to feel can be eased and our innate bodily wisdom can resurface. Tensions, contractions, and stuck emotions can be released and we become more available to feel deeper. Some of the results of this inner explorative work are increased joy, pleasure and well being, and an ability to connect through the body, with oneself as well as others.
